Show Your Support at City Council
Please plan to show your support and attend the City Council meeting scheduled for Feb. 14th, 7 PM at City Hall located on Throckmorton St. This is a very important meeting that many residents have been anticipating. Chapel Creek NA will be recognized for our $53,000 donation for development of the newly renamed, Chuck Silcox Park. Gary and Brenda Hogan have been at work and looking forward to this day for over 10 years! April is the most recent information we have received from the PACS Dept. on a “start date” for actual development. The playground equipment has been ordered.

We Are Still Accepting Park Donations.
Please donate securely through PayPal to the Park Fund and help purchase amenities for our new park. As we continue to raise funds, we can add to our park with walking & biking trails, a pavillion, and more picnic areas. Please remember that any donation made of $25 or more automatically renews your CCNA Membership for one year.

Update Park Meeting with Zimmerman & Parks Dept. Personnel - October 2011

Nine CCNA members met with Zim Zimmerman & David Creek about increased funding of our park development. The Parks Dept. is recommending an additional amount of $52,720 and Zim Zimmerman’s office is pledging $10,000 - which brings our total funding for development to $160,000. Thanks to the City for helping us with this important amenity. At our “special meeting” with CCNA membership,a vote was taken and Playground equipment was selected as the focus of Phase I development. There are going to be 2 other paths with picnic tables at other locations within the park.

Chapel Creek NA Yard Of The Month Award

Chapel Creek NA has re-enrolled in the 2012 program, so please be on the lookout for winners in our community. Once you are selected for this award, Calloway’s sends a $25 gift card to each recipient. Due to our size, our NA was very grateful to receive 4 per month.
