UPDATE - September 26, 2011 - An important park meeting was held to vote on a “major feature” for our Phase I development funding. A majority vote of residents in attendance voted for the playground, which will be located just South of Ensenada Ln. The remaining funds will be used for additional trails and as many other amenities as possible. We want to extend our sincere thanks to those that attended the meeting tonight and to our donors as well. See Amenities

Overview
The parkland running throughout the Little Chapel Creek & Westview Subdivisions has been accepted by the City of Fort Worth, and is moving forward towards planning and development. This project has been in the works for many years now, and has finally begun to gather momentum.  Neighbors interested in helping keep this project on-track are encouraged to join the Chapel Creek NA Park Committee; this group will work with the Fort Worth Parks Department on planning the phased development of our parkland, determining which types of amenities available are most desirable in our neighborhood, and maintaining momentum with the city on pushing this project to completion.  Residents with properties immediately along the green-space and families with small children are particularly encouraged to be a part of this committee.
