CCNA Projects
In an effort to keep our residents apprised of current community issues, we have listed all CCNA current projects below. We welcome our residents to read over these important issues. Contact our Community Coordinator if you would like more information, or wish to become active with any of these projects.

Neighborhood Litter Clean-Up: The CCNA will regularly coordinate days to hit the streets and clean up the litter and debris along the major streets of our area, including Chapel Creek Boulevard, Chapin Road, Meadowgate Drive, and Old Weatherford Road. Please watch the website regularly for the next litter clean-up date. The CCNA’s goal is to ultimately generate enough regular interest and participation to “adopt” the stretch of Chapel Creek Boulevard north of I-30. This goal is somewhat ambitious, and would require four clean-ups per year. Please contact the CCNA President if you would be interested in volunteering at our next litter clean-up.
Neighborhood Tree Planting Program: Any residents in the CCNA area can receive a free 5 gal. tree when you sign up with our Tree Planting Program. This program is currently managed by Danielle Page, CCNA Neighborhood Project Coordinator, who can be reached at 817-602-6339. We need 25 residents to sign up in order for our neighborhood to receive the free trees. The trees must be planted and maintained by the homeowner, and are to be placed within the parkway area between where the sidewalk would be and the curb. These free trees can give our neighborhoods a whole new look and will really improve the overall appearance. For more information, please see the October newsletter or visit the Fort Worth Forestry website.
Chapel Creek Subdivision Brick Wall: As many CCNA residents are aware, the brick wall along Chapel Creek is deteriorating. The City of Fort Worth has taken the position that our 'brick' wall is the same as a residential fence, therefore, repair of the wall is the homeowners; responsibility. There is an ongoing investigation into this matter, and it is our hope that a temporary resolution will be reached soon.
Chapel Creek Capital Improvements: Construction began Nov. 26, 2007 and completed June 14th, 2008. The CCNA is hoping that financing for the replacement of the bridge stays on track for funding and construction in 2010. The CCNA will continue to keep this need in the vision plan of TXDoT through Fort Worth Department of Transportation and Public Works.
IMPORTANT: Latest update on Mineral Lease: 1. Residents and mineral rights owners who did not sign a lease with Cherokee Horn last year for any reason can do so now. Please consider the same lease negotiated by the CCNA last year. Gary Hogan is available to answer questions and concerns. Residents can compare the lease to the one a majority of CCNA residents signed last year. Lease and Addendum.pdf
2. Residents who received the Bonus payment from Cherokee Horn, please read this important message on tax issues. Also, included is information regarding Subordination of Lease Agreement from Mortgage Lending Institution. Mineral Lease Update.pdf

All information released by the CCNA on mineral leasing should not be interpreted as legal advise In fact the CCNA recommends that mineral leasing contracts may have different affects on each leasers' situation, that these are complex and long term legal binding agreements with different implications for different individuals and families .
