Overview
The core tenets of the Chapel Creek Neighborhood Association are family, community, and partnership. Good decisions, volunteerism, and residential teamwork are key to the success of any neighborhood wishing to sustain a close community and maintain a high quality of life for the residents within.  The CCNA actively monitors the ongoing development of the west Ft. Worth area, advocating plans and projects that will ensure our area remains a safe, worthwhile place to live.  Please join our neighborhood association and become part of our family based community network. Thank you!

Boundaries
The boundaries of the association are Old Weatherford Rd. to the North, West Loop 820 to the East, I-30 and Chapin Road to the South,  and Wakecrest Drive (including Splitridge Ct) to the West. Refer to Area 132 on the City of Fort Worth Neighborhood Associations map.  Also, view our map. The History Maker Homes Homestead development has has their own HOA, and is not a part of the Chapel Creek NA. Our boundaries encompass areas of vacant land surrounding our immediate neighborhood so as to monitor and guide future development of far west Ft. Worth. As new neighborhood developments are built in these areas, we will allow them to either join our organization or found their own organization at their discretion.

Meetings
Meetings of general membership are held quarterly on the 4th Tuesday of January, April, July and October.  Meetings are held at 7:00pm at The Redeemer Bible Church.

Membership
Membership is open to any person over 18 years of age who lives or owns property within the association boundaries.  Dues are currently $10.00 annually per voting membership; membership can be by household or by individual.

History
The Chapel Creek Neighborhood Association was registered with the City of Fort Worth in September of 1999. The CCNA's first action was to dispute a proposed change for Old Weatherford Rd., which would have potentially resulted in a six-lane thoroughfare running between I-30 and Loop 820.  Over the years since, the CCNA has worked with the City Council to maintain and improve Chapel Creek Blvd. as traffic needs rose, correcting erosion issues from Little Chapel Creek's path through our neighborhood's green space, and keeping actively involved with Waste Management as the west Ft. Worth landfill's lifecycle ended, and the facility transitioned into a transfer station role. Perhaps the most prominent task undertaken by the CCNA has been to serve as advocate for the residents during the signing of mineral rights leases to Cherokee Horn Production LP for the rights to residents' natural gas deposits.

Values
The goal of the CCNA is to:
>> Provide residents, land-owners, entrepreneurs, and other interested parties with opportunities to discuss and collaborate on neighborhood and city affairs, policies, and other topics of immediate interest.
>> Encourage a sense of pride and identity among residents, and promoting the image of this Neighborhood.
>> Establish a relationship with members of the Fort Worth City Council, City Manager's offices, Code Enforcement and Neighborhood Police Officers.
>> Establish a relationship with members of the City Planning and Development Commission, and committing ourselves to the master planning process within our boundaries and the City of Fort Worth.
>> Provide information, recommendations, and leadership on pursuing funding, loans, and other neighborhood improvement programs.
>> Form committees as necessary to ascertain and represent views of the members of the Association in regard to future planning and development of the neighborhoods within the Association boundaries.
>> Provide a forum for addressing general concerns.
