Welcome to the online home of CCNA!

The Chapel Creek Neighborhood Association (CCNA) was registered with the City of Fort Worth in September of 1999. Since our neighborhood was at the time of it’s inception and remains mostly undeveloped our purpose and mission is to provide an organized framework to promote and enhance the quality of life within the CCNA neighborhood by:
- Establishing a direct line of communication with City Managers, Mayor, City Council, Planning and Development Commissions and other city service offices.
- Forming a common representation of issues and concerns of our neighborhood regarding future development by providing a forum for addressing those issues.

- Becoming proactive in the planning and development decision process for our neighborhood and Concept Planning for the City of Fort Worth.

- Promoting the safety of our neighborhood through education on crime issues, code enforcement, and promotion of the Code Blue Citizens on Patrol Program.

- Promoting and elevating a quality neighborhood image through participation in the CCNA and neighborhood events.

The CCNA received around 40 free trees in May. Our tree planting program was very successful, and we’d like to thank the White Settlement Rd. Home Depot for donating an auger used by Jeff Galle to dig 20 holes throughout the neighborhood. We would also like to recognize our local Boy Scout Troop for helping plant trees as well. What a great effort by our neighborhood residents and many thanks to Danielle Page for organizing the event and coordinating tree distribution efforts!

Fort Worth Forestry will be doing survivability studies, Go To CCNA Projectsso if you did some "tree swapping," let me know what species were planted and where they were moved, so the study can be done more accurately.

Our neighborhoods can repeat this free tree planting process at any time. If you know of someone that is interested, please contact Danielle Page to be added to our list. Once 25 properties are interested, the CCNA will be placed on the waiting list once more. What a great way to beautify our community!

Tarrant County AgriLIFE Extension is offering low-cost homeowners education classes. Brochures will be made available at all CCNA meetings or you may view a copy online at the AgriLIFE Extension site.

The CCNA is happy to announce the addition of a Lawn & Garden Tips section. Please send any questions you may have to Danielle Page, and she will post the answers to your questions here on our site. Danielle is happy to offer helpful advice and tips for those needing a little guidance on lawn and garden care.

It is designed for our residents to communicate with one another about our neighborhood. You can post a message or just simply read what your neighbors have to say. We hope residents feel that the CCNA has made a difference in our neighborhood.

 - We have been able to defeat multifamily apartments on the East side of Chapel Creek that we felt would be detrimental to our future property values and future crime risks.
 - We were able to secure funding for our improved, widened Chapel Creek Blvd. I-30 entrance and secured the I-30/Chapel Creek bridge on a priority infrastructure needs list with TXDot.
 - We negotiated a gas lease for mineral owners above par financially at the time, BUT most important with agreements, protection of our quality of life.

These are just a few of our contributions. We continue to see the need to bring our neighbors together through this association to watchdog our area still 70% undeveloped. We want to have more neighborhood events making us a tighter community and for us to remain a safe, crime free and high quality of life community!

Update - CCNA community cleanup efforts were very successful! Click on the picture below for more details. “Thank you” to our dedicated volunteers!

Our local Home DepVisit Your Local Home Depotot will hold a “Community Appreciation Fair” in June. The Home Depot event will host local businesses and
will offer giveaways as well as providing fun activities for children. We’ll keep everyone posted on this and other local events during the Summer. Please check back here for more information.
